Radical soul care is the phrase Krista Resnick, life coach, uses to guide women to uncover who they truly are – they are not the book they wrote, the trophy they won, or the car they drive. Those are things but not your identity.
Purpose is much deeper than that. It is in your DNA and it never changes. Krista and I agree with this point. The difference between us is HOW we put the purpose to work for our clients. Krista’s emphasis is on her client’s life. Mine is on my client’s brand.
Krista focuses on three C’s in her coaching: clarity, courage and conviction. In her words: Clarity is king. Without clarity, we are unsure of the next step to take to achieve our vision. And the journey to clarity is filled with valuable information to help continue to guide on our path forward.
Courage cannot exist without fear. And she believes fear is a four-letter word (even worse the f-word typically associated with a four-letter word). Fear needs to be understand for the role it plays in our life and accepted in order to move courageously forward.
And conviction. Conviction is how we show up in life, unwavering in our beliefs and values. Conviction is a stronger word that confidence in that it represents what we are and are not willing to fight for, represent and associate with. When we are strong in our conviction, our audience, our tribe, will know and gravitate towards us.
As I reflected on this conversation, I came to realize an analogy for the work I do could be that of a life coach for your brand. You’ll hear me offer examples of how what Krista does for women and their lives is what I do for businesses and their brands.
Purpose is in our DNA and does not ever change. Vision is an expression of your purpose and changes to meet the circumstances and the time of life you are in.Krista Resnick, Life Coach
